![]() Description: A French bronze statue of a "Crusader", dressed in chain-mail and long shirt with crusader’s cross on his chest, with right arm raised, the other on his sword, his shield and one gauntlet are laying on the ground, standing beside a cathedral’s tower with a crown resting on cushion atop of it. It is apparent that this statue represents one of the French kings of the crusades who was renowned as a church builder and faith protector. "Charlemagne" perhaps? On ebonised wooden base. The Satutue is marked with five six-pointed stars on back of the shield. Probably early 19th century. Condition: Excellent condition. Dimensions: Height without base is 10" ( 25 cm). Asking Price:
