Description: Oil painting on canvas, bearing the inscription on the frame "William Callow 1812 - 1908", of a Harbour Scene after a retreating storm with dark clouds still on the horizon and City Folk gathered on the Sea Wall still watching wildly moving waves crash on the rocks opposite the harbour. In the foreground rain puddles are reflecting the blue sky and the setting sun is bating the buildings in a calming light.
Dimensions: 15" (37.5 cm) wide x 18" (45 cm) high.
