Description: A mid Victorian oil painting on copper by Fonti, depicting a bouquet of flowers in a glass vase standing on a ledge in the manner of old Dutch paintings. It is framed in an elaborately worked double brass frame with a Blue-Gray velvet field in between. The painting is protected behind a convex shaped glass which is, as is the rest of this item, in original and perfect condition. Circa 1850-1860. Painting is signed "Fonti."
