Description: George II mahogany Tea caddy, c.1750, with rectangular shaped top enclosing an interior with three compartments for tea with original covers, ivory knobs and lined with zinc foil. On the outside there is a fire-gilded handle, with lock and key and the box itself is on molded plinth and shaped bracked feet.
Condition: Excellent and original condition throughout.
Dimensions: Size is 8.5" x 5"( 21.25 x 12.5 cm); 5.5" (13.75 cm) high.
