Description: Chinese charger painted in enamel colors depicting a peacock on a cherry tree branch with pale pink blossoms, among stylized rocks and other flowers. The rim is decorated with stylized Chinese ornaments, and the back side has an impressed mark. It is set in a finely worked brass rim of European origin, proof that the original owner thought highly of it. Late 19th or early 20 century.
Condition: In excellent condition.
